Thank You Troy – Ours And Others Ways Of Saying Thank You To A Steelers Legend
Troy Polamalu is announcing his retirement.
The news doesn’t come as a surprise, but it is bittersweet nonetheless.
As a 33-year-old life-long Pittsburgh fan, no one may better personify, to me, what embodies the Steeler defense. For generations before me, those names were greats like “Mean” Joe Greene or Jack Lambert. For what it’s worth, when my own children are the age I am now, I will look back on Troy Polamalu and tell them stories like that generation speaks of the Steel Curtain.
Further words from me can’t do this news justice. Below are a collection of awesome tweets from others, who have already said what I would simply be repeating, starting with our own:

Since Troy Polamalu entered NFL in 2003, he and Charles Woodson are only players with at least 30 INTs, 10 forced fumbles and 10 sacks.
