Duel Opinions: Steelers/Jets Keys to the Game
Our panel of writers came together to preview this week’s Jets game, by each finding a single battle they felt would be the “key to the game” for the Steelers to emerge victorious.
Here are those results:

I’m thinking defensive back interceptions.
The Steelers have yet to have one and Fitzmagic is known for turning the ball over a lot (not just versus Kansas City). I think if our DBs can get their hands on the ball and keep it that way, we will win easy… it can relate to Revis and his decline in play (if he plays at all).
My bet is Antonio Brown and company will be more than fine.

The Jets have a really good Defensive Line.
I mean really really good: probably better than anyone we have faced so far this year.
The Eagles D-Line gave us fits, and these guys are better, but they play a different style of defense, and it may have been the wide 9 that was the problem for us in Philly.
So for me, the key is going to be the offensive line play, especially considering we don’t know who is going to be available at this point. Ramon Foster may be back, but B.J. Finney did a more than acceptable job of filling in for him.
The question is who fills in for Marcus Gilbert, who Coach Tomlin said is “highly questionable” for this week. Ryan Harris did not practice yesterday, which might make him unavailable and that leaves Chris Hubbard.
If the O-line can hold off the Jets D-Line, I think we win.
If they don’t, who knows?

I think giving Ben enough time to find his receivers is the main key: there’s no way the Jets can match up with the Steelers weapons. More so, they may be without Darrelle Revis, who hasn’t been himself anyway, but that doesn’t bode well for a poor secondary which has given up 1,140 passing yards in their first 4 games. (And that was against teams that aren’t major passing threats, such as KC and Seattle.)
I’m not as worried about the Steelers defense in this battle, as Ryan Fitzpatrick has been anything short of terrible this season. It’s going to take a heck of a game plan, and mistake-free football on New York’s part, in order to keep pace in this game.

The Steeler’s offensive line is the backbone of this high-powered offense: creating holes, where none exist, for Bell to use his patience, and dancing feet, for yardage.
Reviewing the KC game success, they allowed Ben to stay upright, for the most part, to pass to each of his many weapons, for another historic TD night.
On Defense, if Cam Heyward can continue to get those big paws on balls, I see at least 3 turnovers for scores. Capitalize on the lack of playmakers the Jets have, and the inconsistency of Fitzpatrick.
This game will not only be won by offense, but our defense should finally see some sacks: and a score or two.
Ben will have another 5 TD night, AB will go over 100 yards and Bell will be over 100 yards as well.
Score prediction: 43-10 Steelers
