The Steelers had finally wiped the chip off of their shoulder from a four-game losing streak by winning in Cleveland days earlier. On a short week with little rest, they were once again on the road to try and start a winning streak against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts were without starting quarterback Andrew Luck, but that hadn’t stopped them from threatening to close the scoring gap near the end of the first half. The Steelers were clinging to a 21-7 lead as Indy attempted to get into the end zone on 3rd and 1.

Rolling out of the pocket, Indianapolis QB Scott Tolzien saw daylight close as Steelers safety Sean Davis showed him what happens when the unstoppable force meets the immovable object.

The Colts were stopped short but would go for it on fourth down, where they were also met with resistance and failed to score. They turned the ball over on downs as the Steelers ran the clock out to enter halftime with a 14-point lead.
