Takeaways
- Nobody should be surprised by how lethal the 3 B’s are by now. Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell are all top-tier in their positions and should be a blast to play with in the game.
- I know Landry Jones isn’t exactly a gem in the eyes of fans, but 66 overall? Worse than Dobbs? C’mon.
- I’m genuinely surprised by Jesse James’ 78, though its well-earned.
- Cameron Heyward is criminally underrated with his 81 overall. Hopefully he returns to dominance quickly and his rating shoots up.
- When healthy Ryan Shazier is one of the best linebackers in the NFL. I couldn’t tell you why he’s so low considering how great he played in the latter half of 2016.
- The Steelers 2016 draft class should ascend in no time, especially Sean Davis and Javon Hargrave both at 73. Those two and Artie Burns are key players on this defense and should enjoy a gradual rise.
- Keep in mind that not every player always makes it onto Madden initially. Last year we saw Eli rogers left out, this year fan favorite Mike Hilton is absent.
- I pray for all of your franchises that nobody ever has to start Colin Holba at tight end.
