Saturday’s game had some pretty and some ugly from a hodgepodge of Steelers starters mixed in with other players looking to become starters or make the final roster.

One player who has been absent recently is an absolute game-changer in linebacker Ryan Shazier. Shazier has the ability to create plays and was back to his old tricks on Saturday during this play near the start of the second quarter.

The Steelers starting offense had already given the ball up in the first quarter, with the defense allowing a huge pass play to the Colts which gave the opposition an early 7-3 lead. Winning the turnover battle is one of many victories needed to win the “war” that is the entire game, and Shazier provided an equalizing after dropping back into coverage to pick off this pass by Colts QB Scott Tolzien.
