2017 Steelers Week 4 Offensive Play of the Game: JuJu channeling his inner JuJu
Steel City Underground will pick a play of the game from each side of the ball each week of the Steelers 2017 season. Stay tuned as we hand select the very best from the black and gold!
Did anyone else here that JuJu Smith-Schuster is the youngest player in the NFL?
Apparently, that’s the word on the street, as the Steelers second-round draft pick scores a huge touchdown against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. (Why that’s relevant to this will be explained in a moment.)
JuJu’s score helped cap off four scores from the Steelers in the first half, giving them a 19-0 lead at halftime.
But that’s not the most memorable portion of this great play (where Smith-Schuster breaks off of his route and frees himself for Ben Roethlisberger‘s pass). What will be remembered for a long time to come is JuJu’s touchdown celebration, courtesy of a popular comic book!
And yes, we can also thank the NFL for relaxing their rules so fans can enjoy celebrations just like this one!
