SCU’s 2017 NFL Pick’em: Week 5

Each week a panel of SCU contributors will pick their winners and losers. Let’s see who does the best by the end of the season!

How the mighty NFL machine tramples our dreams!

Last week, several of us actually thought that the Cleveland Browns could win a game. We were burned and all but Zac feel that the Browns could win this week against a surprise 2-2 Jets team (who only Joe Kuzma and Mike Pelaia picked to beat the Jaguars).

Zac, however, got the last laugh when he picked the Bills over the Falcons (also the only to do so). Several folks also fell on their face for picking the lowly Ravens to defeat our Steelers! (Eric, Mike P. and Jimmy – shame on you!)

This week’s clean sweeps from Team SCU is the Lions over the Panthers, Steelers over the Jags, and Eagles over the Cardinals. Several are picking the “upset special” with the Patriots traveling to play the Bucs.

As for Mike P. and Jimmy… there’s still on that Ravens train over the Raiders.
