Watch: James Conner sheds tackles on his way to a 26-yard touchdown

Steel City Underground will pick a play of the game from each side of the ball each week of the Steelers 2018 season. Stay tuned as we hand select the very best from the black and gold!

The Steelers had an embarrassing beginning to their second preseason game against the Green Bay Packers, falling behind early 14-0. Seven of those points came on a Mason Rudolph pick six which opened the game off on the wrong foot.

The Steelers coaching staff opted to not go back to the well, instead locating another one by handing the ball off to second-year running back James Conner.

Conner would carry the ball three times: and that’s all it would take for him to get his team on the board. Combined with a 15-yard facemask penalty on the previous play, Conner would cover 73 yards in those three plays including this marvelous 26-yard TD, where he breaks several Packers tackles on his way across the goal line.
