Watch: Ben to JuJu… 97 yards to the house!
Steel City Underground will pick a play of the game from each side of the ball each week of the Steelers 2018 season. Stay tuned as we hand select the very best from the black and gold!
After tying the game with a trick play at half, the Steelers offense somewhat sputtered before finding their feet in the third quarter on a Ben Roethlisberger to JuJu Smith-Schuster pass that ended in a 97-yard touchdown. With a defender in his face, Big Ben somehow lofts a ball downfield that finds one of his favorite receivers for an uncanny franchise stat:
#Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (@_BigBen7) connects with WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (@TeamJuJu) on a 97-yard touchdown… AGAIN.
It matches their 97-yard touchdown connection on Oct. 29, 2017 at Detroit as the longest pass play in franchise history.
