SCU’s 2019 NFL Pick’em: Week 8
Each week a panel of SCU contributors will pick their winners and losers. Let’s see who does the best by the end of the season!
Last week’s set of games were fairly interesting. Steelers fans watched on as their team sat at home for a bye week, hoping to still gain ground in the AFC North. That didn’t happen as planned, however, since the Baltimore Ravens proved our entire panel wrong about their road trip to Seattle, upending the Seahawks.
A few of our panelists correctly predicted Colts and Cardinals wins, while everyone also blanked on the Chargers/Titans result.
In the final game of the week, where the New York Jets had previously beaten the Dallas Cowboys in a surprise upset, “Gang Green” couldn’t generate anything against the New England Patriots. Our contributors successfully picked New England to win across the board, but I doubt they thought it would be a 33-0 route! (Rather than placing a bet on the Jets, New Jersey residents might be better off with slots or card games on 888 casino NJ!)
This week everyone looks to improve in a tight SCU race at the top, but the picks are primarily deadlocked with few risk takers, save for a game or two that are difficult to pinpoint the winner.
