The pick is in! Steelers select Oregon DT Derrick Harmon
Joe and Brian are relieved by the Pittsburgh Steelers’ first-round selection, and they believe Steelers Nation should be, too!
The hosts look back on day one of the 2025 NFL Draft and examine all of the moves, including what they believe to be a wise decision by Omar Khan to pass on the available quarterbacks with pick 21.
However, that doesn’t mean that the quarterback position still isn’t on their radar. The duo discusses if Pittsburgh jumps back into the second round and who they may target on day two of the draft.

Steelers stand pat and select Iowa RB Kaleb Johnson
After giving up their second-round selection to acquire former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf this offseason, the Steelers only had one pick on day two of the 2025 NFL Draft. And they made that selection count!
Joe and Brian sigh some relief once again as Omar Khan selects a highly productive Big Ten running back, Iowa’s Kaleb Johnson, with the 83rd overall selection.
The hosts discuss how Johnson impacts the offense, an update on first-round pick Derrick Harmon, George Pickens not being traded, Art Rooney’s comments about Aaron Rodgers, and whether or not the Steelers should kick the tires on Colorado’s Shadeur Sanders – or another QB – on day three of the draft.
