Stats that stood out in 2016: DeAngelo Williams edition
He may have only spent two years with the Steelers, but the way DeAngelo Williams embraced his role, and the community, will leave a legacy with Pittsburgh. Over those two seasons Williams cemented his place as a solid NFL player; perhaps not a Hall of Famer but someone you could without hesitation say was great.
With his number 34 handed over to free agent signee Kniles Davis, and a contract to begin working with professional wrestling outfit Impact Wrestling, it appears Williams football days are over.
