Who said preseason football isn’t exciting?
The Steelers started off their Thursday night exhibition finale slow, falling to a 7-0 lead to the Carolina Panthers on the road. A muffed punt led to Pittsburgh getting the ball back on their own 42-yard line.
That’s when Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley dialed up the deep ball, calling for Justin Hunter to out-run his defender and see if Joshua Dobbs’ arm could complete the play.
Spoiler alert: Hunter doesn’t lose his shoe this time, as he did in Week 3!
