If there is any doubt that Joe Haden loves playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers or that Steelers fans love him, it has been put to rest after this great play against the Cincinnati Bengals. Midway through the third quarter, the Steelers held the lead, 23-14. The Bengals offense was looking for an opportunity to remain in the game and on their second down play, Andy Dalton tried to hit A.J. Green.
As you can see, the play didn’t go the way the Bengals wanted. The ball was bobbled and tipped right into Haden’s hands before it could hit the ground at the Cincinnati 40-yard line. The turnover set up the fourth Chris Boswell field goal from 49 yards to extend the Steelers’ lead, 26-14, on the way to the win.
Haden’s teammates celebrated with him after the play, and Haden ran to the end zone fans to offer up some love to the home crowd, showing that he’s fitting in in Pittsburgh just fine.
